Profile View

The profile comprises of six tabs, you can set up a custom message to be displayed on the users profile page in the Profile Options panel. Many other options can also be configured in the Profiles area of SPF administration.

Personal Identity

The first tab allows the member to set up their personal details, you can set which ones are displayed and which are required fields in the Profile Data panel. You can also configure custom fields in the Custom Profile Fields panel.

Your Online Identity

Members can set up their various online contact details, it’s up to the administrator which of these are available to their users. These are configured in the Profile Data panel.

Personal Options

This tab allows a member to set up some personalisation options, they can synchronise their WordPress display name, auto subscribe to topics, hide their on-line status and customise their time zone.

Change Password

Changing password is self explanatory, members can change their forum password and by extension their WordPress password using this form.

Select Your Avatar

Users are able to use various different Avatars, including WordPress avatars, Gravatars, uploaded avatars, remote avatars an avatar pool and the default forum avatar. The order of priority and which are available to your members is configured in the Avatars panel.

Setup Your Signature

Users can set up a regular text signature, or they can supply a URL to an image which can be used. You can configure this and set a size limit in the Global Settings panel. If you want to disable images in signatures this is configured in the Manage Permissions panel.
