Group View
The Forum Group View is essentially your forums the homepage. It shows a list of all the Groups and the Forums they contain. A group view consists of the following aspects:
- A – The Group name. This can be configured in the Administration Manage Groups and Forums Panel.
- B – The Groups description. This can be configured in the Administration Manage Groups and Forums Panel.
- C – The Groups custom message. This can be configured in the Administration Manage Groups and Forums Panel.
- D – New posts notification, show if there are new posts since your last visit.
- E – Show information about the last post including the date, time and user as well as a direct link to the post. This can be configured in the Global Display Settings panel.
- F – A Group RSS feed, contains all the posts made to the group. The RSS feeds can be disabled from the Global RSS Settings panel.
- G – Forum name, each group can contain several forums. The title is a link to the forum, it is set when you create a new forum and can be configured in the Manage Groups and Forums panel.
- H – Forum description. The description is set when you create a new forum and can be configured in the Manage Groups and Forums panel.
- I – Shows the total number of topics in the forum.
- J – Shows the total number of posts in the forum.
