How do I add a Twitter Tweet Me or Facebook Like Me Button to Topics or Posts?

You can add Tweet Me or Like Me or other social media links via our program hooks (Program Hooks). Just pick the hook location you like and enter in the social media button code. You can see an example of how we do them on Simple:Press on this forum post.

How does the Bypass Moderation and Bypass Moderation Once Permissions Work?

You can require all posts to be moderated, never require moderation or require moderation on first post only. For details on these permissions, vist: Moderation Permissions

How do I set up my forum to display as the front page of my site?

How do I enable people to Register in my site and forum?

How do my users upload images, files and other media to the forum?

Uploading is only currently available using the TinyMCE editor. For a full description of how to allow and use uploading see: Upload Images/Media/Files

How can I use custom forum and topic icons?

How can I completely uninstall Simple:Press Forum?

If you wish to completely remove Simple:Press Forum from your site - including all of the data then please visit: Uninstall SPF

Troubleshooting

A new Post has made my forum disappear - what happened?

This is a long standing WP bug (or very inefficient code) regarding shortcodes that causes a php limit to be exceeded - for fix, please visit: Increase Backtrack Limit

When I click on any of my forum links it results in a 404 'Not Found' message?

When I visit my forum the page is empty - how can I fix this?
