Profile Data

The Forum ☛ Profiles ☛ Profile Data admin panel is where you can determine which fields (default and custom) you want to display on your Forum’s Profile page and/or form. In addition, you can specify that some or all fields are required to be filled in on a User’s profile.

Profile Data

The list of profile data available is made up of the standard WordPress profile items, some Simple:Press Forum extensions and any custom fields you may have been defined for your site.

Here you can decide to:

1. Make certain data items required or mandatory.
2. Include them on the profile form for users to complete.
3. Include them wherever profile data is displayed.

Note: Fields marked as Required will appear on the profile data entry form regardless of the inclusion setting.

Some fields are not included in this list because they are deemed necessary by the system. These are:

1. Display Name.
2. EMail Address.
